cynthia-nixonCynthia Nixon is an American actress, best known for her role as the tenacious lawyer Miranda Hobbes in HBO’scelebrated series, Sex and the City, a role that garnered her Emmy nominations and the 2004Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.Since then,Nixon has guest starred on Law & Order: SVU, House, and ER and acted opposite JohnLeguizamo in The Babysitters, which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival. She also famouslyreprised her role as Miranda in both Sex and the City movies.
