Dr Stock was the founding director of UCLA’s influential Program on Medicine, Technology and Society. He is a leading advocate for aggressive life science research and its global strategic importance. He presently is exploring key drivers of pharma development. Stock sits on California’s Stem Cell Advisory Board and is the founder of Signum, a biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutics for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Dr Stock holds a doctorate in Biophysics from John Hopkins and an MBA from Harvard. He was a fellow at Princeton’s prestigious Woodrow Wilson School and is the founding CEO of Signum Biosciences. He serves on the board of Napo Pharmaceuticals and is the Associate Director of Berkeley’s Center for Life Science Policy.
