Gareth Jones
Former HR Director at the BBC and Author of ‘Why Should Anyone Be Led by You?’
Gareth Jones is a Fellow of the Centre for Management Development at London Business School and a visiting professor at INSEAD, the international business school in Fontainebleau. His articles have appeared in the European Management Journal, Human Relations, and the Harvard Business Review. His research and consulting expertise is in the areas of corporate culture, authentic leadership and change.

In a career that has spanned both the academic and business worlds, Gareth was Director of Human Resources and Internal Communications at the BBC; at Polygram, then the world’s largest recorded music company, he was Senior Vice President for global human resources. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of People Management magazine, is a trustee of The Work Foundation and in 2004 was selected to join the board of the Human Resource Planning Society.
